"The Red Thing"

The Lookout Tripping Hazard (LOTH) is basically a clearing in the woods stuffed with bones, roots, and vibes. It began as the hazy vision of a madman, and endures as the obsession of weirdos and ghouls.

We are an outdoor art installation comprised of nature's dying materials: skulls, bones, sticks, roots, and a preoccupation with darkness and decay. This place is lit with red light only  and is intended to be experienced exclusively after dark. Hellish, unnerving solace is to be found here amongst the grim.

We are also a seasonal performance venue with our own stage, professional audio equipment and dyed-in-the-wool live sound engineer. We host mostly metal shows, and remain considerate of other acts that are strange and disturbing and can take place in only red light.
